Dear Diary,

I met one of the most interesting people i've encountered in quite some time the other night at the basement in nashville, TN. ( music city!) her name is jill sobule and i have been thinking about her ever since. she was so accepting of her art and of her eccentricity. she was just the breath of fresh air i needed. \
My advice is that you should check her out, if you get the chance! I will definitely see her again, hopefully SOON! (and hopefully with mckeown, bc she makes any situation better x10.)
ok, back to Jill.
One of the things i like MOST about Jill Sobule, is her willingness to communicate with her fans over the internet. Even if she is only faking the whole being 'friends' thing, she is doing a pretty good job. I'm not sure, tho, that you can fake that kind of thing completely. Tila Tequila is someone who is REALLY good at , well, basically charming people over the internet for her own profit / gain. The internet fascinates me bc it is a whole new realm of communication. our ideas are electric. it's crazy. i need to stop thinking about the internet (don't get me started) and just go watch the roseanne halloween marathon.
