aww, they have their own eggs now :-)

so, i have been following along with the semi-viral internet story concerning the gay penguins who were borrowing their hetero-penguin-peers eggs, you know, so they could be penguin parents. well, that wasn't working, bc you can't just go and steal other penguins eggs, even if all you want is to be a gay penguin parent. you just can't do it! they aren't your eggs! well, FINALLY, there has been a solution for these egg-less penguins. ABOUT TIME! :-)

at 1st i thought this must be a joke, but then i thought about it and realized it probably wasn't. anyway, i think in middle eastern culture, shoes and dirty feet...etc are some of the most offensive things around.

either way, it is still sort of funny (just admit it, it kind of is) when people commit basically non-violent acts on totally unsuspecting people. (ie:pie in the face..etc.)

fly away little books

if you are anything like me, you have some trouble getting rid of things..especially things that hold meaning to you such as books, clothing..etc.
i have yet to give away many books, because i would probably suffer from separation anxiety, but..if i WERE to give one away (maybe i obtained an extra copy, who knows..)
but, so say i give one away, i am going to wonder..where did it go?! who has my book? who is reading my book? did they like it?
